This legacy strain from the 1900s has been a heavily-produced strain in Puna on the Big Island of Hawaii for decades. Almost wiped out by the notorious “Green Harvest” of the 1980s and 1990s, this epic Puna favorite has survived. Widely grown in Puna and ideal for the former clandestine Guerrilla growers of legend, this is a hardy plant that can withstand neglect and still produce pounds of awesome weed. The leaves and buds have a blue coloration to them, though the finished dried flowers don’t hold this color. Approximately 80% Indica with just enough Sativa to allow it to stand up to the 10 feet of rainforest deluge common in Puna, this hardy relic of yesterday-year is a testament to the amazing tenacity of the earlier cannabis farmers making a living during the time of cannabis prohibition.
