About Us

We are a group of Cannabis seed growers in Hawaii. The core group of us have been growing Cannabis seeds here in the Hawaiian islands for decades; way before legalization. Many newer seed-production affiliate growers are new to the industry, and assist by producing specific strains of seeds on their own farms. We are truly a local small-farmer business focused on producing unique Cannabis cultivars found nowhere else in the world.

We take pride in our Cannabis genetics and have placed our seed production sites under quarantine since the recent spread of Hops Latent Virus (HLV). We have maintained a series of grow sites that are pristine and clean of HLV, and periodic testing by the University of Hawaii Agricultural Extension Service assures that we remain un-infected. All of our seeds also undergo external disinfection using powdered, organic, methods to assure that pathogens do not catch a ride on our seeds. Our quality and cleanliness are priority, and we are always improving our production systems to improve your seeds.

We have Hawaii-grown heirloom seeds, meaning that these cultivars have been grown in Hawaii for at least 20 years with no hybridization. We also have hybrids that incorporate some of the best strains in circulation before the 2022 spread of Hops Latent Virus. Our current and future breeding programs  enhance and improve the genetics that we hold in our consortium freezer storage. When we do bring in new cultivars we will have them tested at the University of Hawaii to be sure that they are free of HLV.

We will soon integrate seed coating technology to assist in quality control and to provide probiotics (beneficial microbes to assist with plant growth).

Through careful selection/breeding of Cannabis cultivars found growing in Hawaii from 1979 through to 2010, the founder or Hawaii420seeds developed several excellent varieties of Heirloom and Heirloom/Modern hybrid cultivars.
